Well, first it rained, the hailed, THEN it snowed. Yes, we are 2 months into Spring.

Sonita had never seen snow before. However, her paddock mate Dolly, had. Dolly (otherwise known as Ms. Evil) made sure Sonita freaked out at every little white flake that landed on her nose. By the time I coaxed Dolly and turned to shut her in, she spun around and squeezed past me as I reached for the latch, and yep... out she went. With Sonita right behind her, that foal getting...

Today is day 322. The barn cam is live! We have hooked up a TV in the bedroom, dedicated to the barn cam so we can watch her and hear her. Used 40 meters of cable... wireless doesn't work inside a steel barn. I need to buy some irrigation hose to put the wire in so I can run it underground.

Last night Sonita only laid down for about 15 minutes or so. Usually she lays down for an hour per session, with standing in between. I think it is getting more and more uncomfortable laying down....
