So... in 6 days I'm taking Duke to his first Endurance ride, It's only a 10 mile training ride, But today Carla, The other girls, and I took our horses out for a ride to work them. Duke was a doll, and we were trotting around this one big open feild and we trotted right past a group of wild turkies and he was amazing, I was so proud but just as that thought passed those stupid birds decided to fly away! So Duke took off Galloping and I stayed on, but he didn't realize I was still on until I started to pull the reins, and I guess I scared him so he began bucking like a bronc, like head between the knees bucking! I stayed on for a while but Then I lost a stirrup and hit the ground (which the ground- is not forgiving

) And Duke came back down and steeped on my arm. I was fine I caught him and got back on but now later in the day my arm is throbbing (no broken bones) But It is so sore, and now my ankle is starting to hurt.. poo! Just like 20 minutes ago I got a call saying I have to work tomorrow... Wont that stink (ugh! talk about make me mad!). Oh well. So yeah I ate it today, lol
