On Switching Trainers/ Coach shopping
I strongly believe, no matter how good a coach is, you should not spend more then a few years with one trainer. No one person can teach you everything and everyone will teach you something - even if its what NOT to do.
It sounds like you've just outgrown each other - it doesn't mean she hasn't taught you a lot or isn't good at her job -so don't feel guilty about moving on - its all part of the natural progression of riding.
I have 2-3 students who I plan to move to MY coach this fall. It's not because I can't teach them anything new - I continue my OWN riding education, so I'm constantly learning new things to teach my students....but its because they've been with me for a long while, and I think its important they they start getting fresh eyes on their riding and hearing things with a little different perspective.
I have students who have rode with coaches with MUCH more experience then I ....but sometimes I may explain something differently or approach something at a different angle and they will master something they've been trying to get for a long time under that other coach.
The benefit of different perspectives is only something you can get when you work with different instructors.

Just like different horses teach us different things and each of them will hone a different skill - so do trainers.
