Oh poo....

I had a bad feeling somebody would buy these before I had the money too...

Somebody got a steal of a deal on those boots!
Gah, they were JUST the perfect size for me. The boot I have now fit, but they aren't perfect. Guess I'll keep looking.

My goal this winter is to upgrade my riding apparel. That means... boots that FIT... WELL!! New full seat breeches... the pair I have... are just plumb too small. I bought them when I had a teenager body... I now have a woman's body. Does NOT fit the same clothes!!

Jacket... OK (though would love to have a REAL dressage coat)
Shirt... OK (couldn't hurt to have another though)
Need another pair of schooling breeches and another pair of tan or beige showing breeches.

Also wanting to spiff out my XC gear. As in a helmet cover, a new saddle pad (which I'll sew, got the material sitting downstairs), and I'm not sure what else, think I'm good otherwise. Oh yeah! Some green laces for the vest

I really should stay away from ebay though in all of this.... I have a BAD habit of finding GOOD deals on there and spending money that way. See... the problem is, they ARE really GOOD deals! So, I figure the money worth it... I mean, most of the time I do really need that item... but, I could save a lot of money and make do without said items if I stay away from the place XD

Well... it's late, I'm rambing and tired and gotta be up early to feed at the barn in the AM

Oh don't feel bad, I just bought a dressage saddle and I am moving to Japan! LOL It's worse to get a good deal on something you can't even use than to miss something. I bet you'll find another good deal!

Hey, I want to see your material for the XC pad.

Those boots look just like mine! I love them! Good luck finding another pair, they are definitely worth it. Did you look on that seller's list for breeches that I gave you? I just got a couple more pair for schooling. They are nice for that! And not ridiculously expensive.

Can't wait to see your updated x-country outfit! You and Buddy will look real spiffy then!!!

Katie, they are actually the EXACT same kind of boots I have, just a different size I love the challenger field boots... just the ones I have don't fit me as well as I'd like.

Oh yeah! Forgot to add... gonna upgrade my dressage saddle pad... I just need to find a plain white pad, hit the craft store and get busy. It's going to be beautiful when I get done

Heather... my fabric is just green and black flannel fabric. Will probably buy a canvas or something to back it with though because it's not the most sturdiest stuff in the world.
