Oh...Mo

The Mo man and I have had a rough week.
I am feeling FRUSTRATED.
Sunday at the Innisfail ride he pranced, danced and even BUCKED
the entire 5 hours. No signs of soreness, just an evil wild look in his eye.
Rode Tuesday at the neighbors and he was going out of his way to try and attack her gelding. Rearing striking, and double barrelling wth both hinds while in reverse.
While I was mounted. Seemed like I had no control
Wednesday did some round pen work. It took FOREVER to achieve joinup and then I practiced showmanship and he tried to bite me and stomp on me. Back to the roundpen...then showmanship again.
Thursday took him out for a trailride ALL BYHIMSELF. The first half of the ride was all rollbacks and screaming/calling. He can actually canter sideways with his head pulled into his flank in the direction of home. By the time I got half way through the ride he settled and started back to his old ploddy self. I'll consider that a victory! Even on the "homestretch" and into the yard he didn't start dancing.
Tonight I rode in the arena. He was nice and quiet, supple and even subdued. Until bathtime. Then he turned into a raging manic again. I managed to get his mane banded and him tucked into a stall.
I have a show tommorrow. Not sure at this point how it is going to go, and if I'm just donating my money. If he's out of control I WILL scratch him.
I miss my old Mo. I wish he would come back
I need to get back to the drawing board and figure out what the heckis going on wih him and us.
