Dam.n it dam.n it dam.n it! We had our Auction today and it didn't sell... didn't go well at all! We had no bids....
Arrgh it is so frustrating - we have been doing our bit - keeping it clean as possible, we painted it and packed up everything we didnt need so it looks neat.... I am a bit down that it was unsuccessful - where are the buyers?! I hope they will come forth next week as it often the case... We went to an auction last week and the same thing happened but they sold this week so who knows with these things?? We are not asking too much, just the value, so someone will come along (c'mon!!!!) Unfortunatley it is just a touch hard to sell houses at the moment
Trust us to come across our dream property in this time period
But it WILL be ALL WORTH IT
My motives are a bit selfish - I just want to tell my boss to go get st...d! Waiting for that day is agony! We get the farm we bought on the 9th Oct. If we dont sell here, we have the loan for both, so it is not a total disaster just will cost more - but I want the **** thing wrapped up I hate waiting in limbo! I dont know how we will afford both loans for long it will be a struggle, but one thing is I will get the horses up there asap to reduce the costs there because paying for agistment plus their entire feed (there is hardly any grass...) is going to be too much. They will go onto plenty of pasture, and of course I will provide hay as well, but they really do not need so much chaff and suppliments or hay once we move there... So that will be first priority.
I was so dissapointed I went to see the horses and rode Champ for a bit. He was good but I think he may have a sore back (from the hill he lives on -another reason I will be glad for him to move) Then I just groomed them and talked to them. I got Evie out and just groomed her next to Champ. There was a small tiff when I wasn't looking (ducked in the shed to get a brush), but I think they will be ok. Champ just asserting himself, and Evie will make no claims for leadership, so they wont take long to sort themselves out. They had a good curry as they are moulting, then left them with nice full haybags to munch on. Evie looks sooo much happier now.
Well, wish me luck for offers to come rolling in next week
