New Horse Trailer

We just bought a new horse trailer. As in, about half an hour ago. We've been looking for a new one for a little while. We have a great Logan 2HS that we love but it is starting to get pretty rusty in the front from rock chips so we were going to have to put quite a bit of money into fixing it up. We thought that instead of putting the money into fixing this one, we'd sell it and put the money toward a new one (well, not new new, but newer). Since we have so many horses (8 last time I counted), a 2H is kind of small for the size of the herd, plus now we have two 17h WBs who barely fit in ours.
So, anyway, we have been looking for a new one, we wanted a 3HS and something big enough to fit the big guys. We were just about to go down to Washington to get a nice nearly new Trails West when my sister checked for stuff around here one last time on Kiji and voila! I get a phone call from her "Get your shoes on and jump in the car, we're going to buy a trailer". So that's what we did. It was a super deal, the lady said it's been up for 2 days and she's gotten hundreds of calls. So we drove out there, checked it out, and bought it
It's a Sundowner 3HS, it's a 1996 but hasn't been used very much so it's in super condition. Yay! So exciting
Never thought we'd own a Sundowner..hehe!
8 days 'till Arizona
Had my first class yesterday. We had a draw to find out who would be one of the 5 people who would get to do a multi-day hike from the rim of the Grand Canyon down to the river. Because it's such a highly protected area only a certain number of people are allowed going down at once, and you have to enter a lotto to find out how many people in your group are allowed to go. Well, we're allowed 6 (so 5 plus a prof) out of 20 people. So yesterday we had our own lotto to see who would get to go on the hike, and I am one of the 5
Yay, I'm so stoked. I would have been really disappointed if I hadn't got to go on it.
Jumped Sunny and Duplicate today. So fun
Duplicate is so awesome.
