I'm not one to get all girly and wear nail polish normally but I'm doing it...

I went out and bought some black nail polish. My nails are sooo pretty. My mom thinks they aren't girlish enough she is like okey we finally got you to wear nail polish now can't you wear pink or something?

Its funny because this guy, who is a friend of my friend, wears black nail polish and my mom always says hes girlish. I said how come it is girly when he wears it but not when I do? Of course my answer was nail polish on a guy is girlish period.

Such double standards.
