We had our dirt biking club's Xmas party last night. It was fantastic!! It was held in such a beautiful room. So posh for us dirty dirt bikers .
Ice Sculpture and all! I had a great time letting my hair down, maybe I'll upload pics. Feeling a little lazy today.

My husband installed a cat door in our kitchen yesterday. FINALLY, now my cat can let herself in and out 100 x per day.

My daughter is going back to school on Tuesday, after being home sick for a WEEK....

I have finished moving everything from the the suite/daycare upstairs. That was a major job, I was really surprised how much stuff I had down there. It didn't really look like that much, but now that I've had to move it all upstairs where we have a lot less storage... wowzie is all I can say. I am tempted to take a pic but I would only look like a crazy lady with all this stuff up here. Now that I have the suite all cleaned and ready for the new tenant (who is due any time now), I can start to sort...

We've decided on new carpet instead of the laminate flooring. The laminate was just adding up to a ridiculous cost. We're having the new carpet in with underlay and install for around $2K. I'm happy with that, it's a pretty large area. Now I have to get to work and bring all the daycare stuff up from the basement as our new tenant is moving in on the 1st. Unfortunately we won't be getting the carpet for another month or so, too bad we could not have organized it to be better timing. oh well, I...

It's our daughter's bday today. She's 6yrs today. I'm making my first ever 3D cake. I will post pics when done! No laughing!
