Yessss I missed surgery by 1mm. I have a wheel chair now so I can do a happy dance/roll.

I made it to the park today, just Sarah and I. That was a MAJOR obstacle for me and while it may sound trivial and silly to anyone who reads this - I am so proud of myself! I was hard carrying all that stuff on the crutches, but I did it!

This will be the last entry on my ongoing saga with the broken leg.
Basically my leg is a mess. Top outside portion of tibia is cracked and crushed.

If I am away for any period of time, it is for surgery.

Only one more day until I get my leg seen to - finally!!!
9 days after the break, it's just unreal. I cannot wait to have it casted, it's driving me crazy really. It feels fragile if that makes sense.

I have asked my friend to watch Sarah for us so that my husband can be with me at the hospital. I don't have much hope in this woman, she turned Terry down when he called her for help when I was in emergency for 3 days with a kidney stone. Of course he could not spend much time...

120 degrees and 85% humidity today. It's a hot one!
That's pretty wild. We have the a/c cranked on full blast in both ends of the house - we are not lucky enough to have central air - and it's just barely comfortable in here. Depends on where you are sitting in the house. It's hot here at the computer desk inthe corner.

Guess what I did today! I put my back out while leaning over my crutches to try and reach laundry in the hamper. fun fun fun.

Record breaking heat wave today, hit 120 degrees this afternoon. That is not really normal for over here, the humidity would drop you if you spent too much time out there. Instantly drenched in sweat. Thank goodness we have the AC. Even Terry can't tell us to turn the ac off to save $$ today. Phew!!!
I am in agony today. Just about to go and pop a few pills to take the edge off. They make me really really druggy so I'm not so keen on taking them until evening time. I don't like that foggy...
