Wow I had a hard day yesterday. My back is paying the price.

I just about killed myself on the wheelchair at home (forgot to put brakes on while hopping in). Just about killed myself trying to crawl out of a broken beach chair at the park. Just about killed my SHOULDERS pushing myself around in the drug store's chair that refused to go in a straight line, then just about killed the woman who parked so close to me that I could not get into my truck.

I wish for two good...

Yes, ok that was a big mistake. It sounded so easy when shotgun mentioned it in a post last week or so. I think I must have a lot more stairs to manuver than her, the outside cement stairs were a major obstacle.
Getting down was hard enough but I couldn't get back up them when we got home. I had to sit there and send my daughter to go nocking on neighbours doors for help. Embarassing!!!

I am going to give Shotgun's method of getting the chair up/down stairs a try today! Now all I have to do is find the lunge line, it's probably in the camper. It sure is a good thing that I have handy 5yr old to play gophur with me. Go fer this, go fer that...
I have one and a half stories of stair casing to lower the wheelchair down, then I will wheel myself through the garage out to the truck, sit on the bumper and see if I can haul the chair up into the bed of the truck.

It's gone, that has got to be the fastest sale in history. My husband put the ad up on a forum last night and it just drove away now.

I am sad to see it go but mostly I am sad that my riding is done this season.

I did however make $350 on it. So it's not that bad, considering I only rode it for 4 months.

My motorcycle went up for sale this afternoon and I have an interested party coming to look at it tomorrow morning. She's coming over on the ferry, very interested. I think it will ride away tomorrow . I will be sad to see it go.
