A lot has been going on in the last 3 days or so. I put so much pressure on myself and I don't know why I do that. When I signed on the mother of the 2yr / 4yr old boys, I genuinely believed I'd be up and walking by now. It's painfully clear that I cannot safely care for an active 2yr old, in full diapers, taking a bottle. I am still relying 100% on the crutches so I cannot even hold his hand to cross the street when we take my daughter to school. She has agreed to make other arrangements until...

My physio therapist had me take my first steps on my broken knee today. It was tough but it was deffinitely a "step" (harhar) in the right direction.
I had hopes I would be actually walking by this monday - as that's when my daycare officially re-opens. I have kids Monday - Friday. I think I need my head examined.

4 more days until I am allowed to try walking! I feel like a little kid waiting for Christmas morning.

I have physio scheduled for Thursday.

We got the straight grade 1 class. Today was the 'official' first day as they were finally assigned to their classrooms. The kids were getting tired of having to go to the kindergarden class every morning last week.

They have desks! We were all under the impression that they would have tables until grade 3. They switched it up this year. Of course the teacher informs me that she will be giving us a list of supplies on Wednesday . Talk about late notice. I wish I knew...

My baby started grade 1 today. I didn't cry! Be proud of me, it was hard not to . I am a softie when it comes to these things.
School only for 1.5hrs today while they work out attendance. I am PRAYING that she doesn't get placed into a k/1 split. There is low attendance this year so we will see.

After school we are taking the kids to Herrling Island to ride the dirt bikes. I however will sit in my chair and watch I am a happy lady.
