Sometimes I just don't know where life is heading. *sighs*
So I call my mom at least twice a week. She's been having issues for a year now (if you want to know more there's a thread somewhere about it) and the issues also include my dad.
He is not abusive, but he is emotionally and verbally abusive to a point. He has anger issue, but if you tell him that he just gets angry...go figure. My brother still lives at home, helps my dad with his business, but he has the same attitude as him. They argue all the time (mom, dad and brother) and my mom is sick of it.
She can't live like this. I'm thousands of miles away and can't help. I wish my dad could see what he's doing....I have no doubt he loves her, but he doesn't know how to show it. He has never been an emotional person or one to talk a lot.
So my mom thinks she has ruined her life and her marriage and everything else. She doesn't have a job; she's on medical leave for her issues, so my dad brings home all the money; which I know is very stressful because I've done it too.
My mom wants to leave him, but she doesn't think she can. I'm afraid of how my dad will react or what will happen to him if she does leave. But she would need to find a job that isn't too stressful and a place to live and...well there's a lot going on...

Anyway, I just had to get this off my chest right now.
