Well I'm sitting here, and it ist 6:35 trying to pass some time. This morning I get to miss some school to go to the barn to hold Isabel for our new farrier. My mom would go, but she has Bronchittis and borderline Pneumonia, so I'm going instead.

Haven't really been able to ride much, because of Isabel needed shoes so badly. Our old farrier moved like 2-3 hrs away, but when he did my mom asked him if he'd still be able to keep up with shoes etc and he said yes, but of course he didn't...

We went to the barn and grabbed the trailer on the way there. We arrived, through Isabel in the trailer, without any in and out practice and locked her up esscentially. She did great. She was not hesitant at all. Here is a pic of her sticking her head out the door.
The buttbar was back to far and she got her head under the chest bar, so in the future obviously she'll be on the smaller horse setting. We let her out...

Since I am on semester break I went to the barn today . I got there like 1:00ish. Taked Isabel up, she was extremely dusty no matter how much brushing I would do, it made it worse actually. Her new shavings were probably the main perpatrator in the dust. We walked around for awhile outside of the arena, I really wanted to make sure she got to stretch her legs in case she was sore from yesterday. We then went to the top arena, and the pole I had put in there had disappeared completely....

So I went up to see Isabel, since I finished finals today! Woot Woot!!! We went on Tuesday, and my trainer's foal had arrived. She is ADORABLE. She is a buckskin with white mane highlights and is from Canada. She is sooo fuzzy!

Isabel was very bright and was noticing everything when I was warming up. She started off good though and let me bring a cavalletti into the arena while holding her...without fre.aking out! Yay Izzie. Because of the winds though tons of branches were down around...

Well today after my frusterating escapade I got up at 6:30!! and went to the barn (left by 7:00). I took Zoe along so we could try going on trail after I rode.

When I got there Izzy had gotten halfway through her hay, which for once looked like ok quality. I thought it would be deserted (7:30ish) but there was a drill team practice, although it was pretty quiet. I got Izzy who was nice and fluffy since it was cold out. She had scratched her knees and above her eye! HOW DID SHE DO THAT!...
