I was reading a book just now and in it was 2 beautiful pieces of writing, one song lyrics, the other a poem. So beautifully written they made me cry. I thought I should write them down.

Whilst I don't particularly like John Mayer, I do enjoy this song and the message within it.

We do have the means to rise above and beat it. We have our voices, our beliefs, our passions.

We don't have to keep waiting, we can do something.

So I had an appointment with the Dermatologist today.

The only thing thats going to treat my acne is roaccutane. I really didn't want to go on it because of all the related side affects but I've tried literally every other option and this is the last choice.

So I have to have blood tests done this weekend then I go back in 2 weeks.

I just hope that it actually works.

On a good note, I got my new glasses today! I can see!! Its always suprising...

And thats exactly how I'm feeling right now. Like my life is passing me by.

What I wouldn't give to be done with University and actually doing something with my life.

I don't want to sit and study, I want to be out, helping, doing anything I can.

I guess I'm in a bad mood because of all the Uni work I'm doing this week. Its my mid session break(mind you its a bit late) and I have assignment after assignment to do whilst its absolutely gorgeous outside. hmmphf...

Sooooo, things are good.
I have lots of Uni assignments due soon, but after that I just have 2 exams and Im done! This semester has gone super fast!

I'm busy getting stuff organised for North Carolina too. Still not sure which campus I'll be going to be I should find out at the pre departure meeting next week.

And this weather! Oh my gosh its been heaven! Hot enough to wear shorts and singlets, but not so hot that I'm constantly afraid of melting! Its lovely.
