Wowzer. I have never sold a horse before but from friends who have I got the impression it would be like... slow going! Not many emails, you know?

We've had 9 in 72 hours Two are coming to see her, and a couple more are eager to arrange a date to visit. One is coming from South Wales - a 4 hour drive to see her! Crazy.

I will let my blog know how it goes on Friday, when person no1 comes to visit

We put a sale advert up for Ace last night. 3 replies all ready - and there I was thinking there was no market for companions. A couple of the people sound really great so hopefully they will keep in contact and maybe come out to visit her. We are not selling her for much, £650 ono. That's about $1280. I guess over in the US, that would be a LOT for a horse like her. Lucky I live here, hey... hopefully she will go to a nice home

I did not actually do a post after the MRI.

Well, it took a while to get the news. She was very well behaved, although when the vet was trimming her hooves (to get all rust out so the MRI would be clearer) she was fidgety, so he doped her and she kept almost falling over. It was so cute...

Anyway, we got the report a few weeks ago. Not good news.
She is going to be lame for the rest of her life - it will get progressively worse. We have started working her because...

I have been doing loads of halter work while waiting for the 6th to come along. I bought a richard maxwell pressure halter and rope to work with and am using some techniques from his dvd and she seems to be taking them really well. I am already noting a difference in her manners.

She's not constantly all over me now; she sees me as herd leader and she doesn't come to me every three seconds to nudge around any more. if I say move, she moves. If I say stop, she stops.

Ace's MRI is booked for 6th of may so keep yours fingers, toes and everything else crossed!

insurance are willing to pay 50% so I think we are going to do a little fund raising to get the rest.

i just hope we get good news i miss my baby!
