I hate to say this, but I feel like I'm happiest when I'm with my horses. I love my fiancee A LOT!...but It's not the same. I know it sounds funny, but a horse knows when you're upset. They nuzzle you, pull you close with their head and they will hold you. Now a man/woman will do that (sometimes) but it depends on their mood. A horse seems to understand your feelings. Well, first things first. I haven't been around horses my whole life (I wish I did.) However, I have always loved them.
