Lets get this ball rolling! Today I finally was able to drag the arena...yes its probably been since OCTOBER since I last did it. Well it was still purty damp underneath so I chose not to ride on it today, so as to not pack it right back down.

But I got my new cavalettis all set up out there and ready for boot camp tomorrow. Gonna get those two sillies prepped for jump training. Should be working over decent fences in less than 2 weeks. Show coming up so can't mess around too much...

ok so at 10 am it already hit 40 degrees! AND the sun is SHINING and there is NO wind...rare occasion in NE.

So yeeup...going out to ride at least Fiona.....no time for the others. Gotta go up to good ol Ogallala for a bull sale and to take my boots to the boot man. FUN!

But seriously...what a nice day! I have high hopes for summer to come soon! But of course its sposed to rain tomorrow

Anyone have time to come out and work the other horses for me ...

One of these days I'm hoping we'll get TWO nice days in a row. Yesterday....60 and beautiful....today snowing and 25........ummmm okkkk

Might have to 'take a step back' and not go to the show first weekend of April.....Fiona may not be conditioned enough (the jumping won't be the problem..its the energy)...and we'll see about Dawn, he may have to stay home. No sense showing a horse that isn't ready!
