Catching Up

Posted 06-18-2008 at 09:04 AM by katana77
I've been rather busy lately, and really haven't been able to return here, so I decided to drop by and write something of the progress I've been making.
There's a new member of the family: a 6 year old BC named Mario. Sweet little guy who was basically feral and who is still learning how to be a dog. I haven't introduced him to the horses yet, but I'm curious to see his reaction.
Abby and I have been making fantastic progress. Now that I have a better idea of what I'm doing, she's much...

My niche

Posted 03-27-2008 at 04:55 PM by katana77
Every living creature has its own niche, and I believe that most people spend their lives looking for them. For some, its found relatively quickly. Others give up finding the perfect group for themselves, and change to fit in with others. Some never find their niche, while some simply give up. I'm still looking for mine, or really, waiting. I'm an agriculture girl; its in my blood. I love nothing more than working outdoors, and cleaning stalls is actually enjoyable for me. The area I'm in though...

New Lessons

Posted 03-06-2008 at 09:48 PM by katana77
Yes, I have a whole lab to finish before tomorrow, but I thought a small break wouldn't kill me
I had a lesson Wednesday at the new barn, and am in love! The instructors are great, and I'm just so excited to go to lessons again. I got feedback (something I was no longer getting in my previous lessons) and am finally understanding things. For example: at my previous barn, I could never pick up the right diagonal and couldn't figure out why. After much explanation and many attempts, it finally...

Feel like journaling

Posted 02-14-2008 at 04:19 PM by katana77
Horse important information is more towards the bottom. For now I'm just rambling. I feel the need to journal, and I'm much to lazy to visit my other blog. So here it is.
I love Amaranth. Its an absolutely beautiful song, and while I normally don't like Annette's voice, its superb on this song. So if anyone happens to read this blog (which I don't think anyone does) they really should check it out. Top notch song.
Ah, yes, valentine's day. Also known as the hallmark holiday. God, the...
