January 4- January 13, 2007

Posted 01-13-2007 at 07:06 PM by 3WishesDun
I decided to make updates every week or so, since there isn't a whole lot to talk about....lol.
Jack has been a little post/stiff when pivoting on the front right hoof. I also notice that he tends to "point" this foot more in the pasture. Have been taking it easy with him. Just working on a few sets of backing each day and stretches. He is due to be reshod on Wednesday.

Have been watching some DVD's from a farrier/hoofcare conference. There was a very interesting presentation about banana shoes and their use. I am going to discuss some of the things talked about with my farrier.

My Dad is in town for the AVMA (veterinary meeting) conference. He got me a badge too, so I can't wait to check it out.

I ordered 5 new saddle racks. It was a joke trying to stand on a chair with the rack in one hand and the drill in the other...but I eventually got them all hung and the saddles up. I am going to hang my new bridle hooks tomorrow.

I bet the Vet seminar will be great. Lucky You!
The DVD's sound nice. It is good that you are able to discuss things with your farrier.
