I also am quite disappointed in the nature of HGS lately.

The attitude here is just ridiculous. I dont sit on my hands anymore, which I'm sure many people have been quite aware of. I'm tired of always being nice and considerate when there are those here (especially many new members) who are not that way to anyone else. I'm not doing it because THEY are but because I'm just sick of always being sweet and kind and considerate. It's tiring and exhausting to keep giving and giving.. blah blah blah. I'm not perfect and I'm not always bubbly and happy go-lucky. That's just not HUMAN..

Constantly being nit-picky and taking words way too far and out of context... trying to make it into what it's not and then saying they're calling you out. That's such bull-****. Puhlease, get over yourselves people..

I'm also more inclined to lurke on here than post. It just doesn't seem worth it when people get SO offended for the most stupid things and taking it too far. You have to tip toe around and make sure you're super sweet and don't say anything to upset anyone else because they may not like what you have to say. They can't just agree to disagree, it has to turn into something ridiculous and immature. You get reprimanded for the most flabbergasting things and are treated like a child in Sunday School.

Why are some topics okay to talk about and discuss and other topics, that are similar in catagory, you cannot? Same with censored words.. I respect that they are and I'm sure there are "reasons" behind it, though for something of them, I don't think I will ever understand the "reasons" ..no matter what they are. And other forms of some words are allowed but the singular or some plural forms of the same word are not allowed.. Deleting whole threads that are actually productive and intellectual. Kinda ... interesting really. There have even been some words that have become UNcensored over the years, that I have noticed. Also, interesting.

Just a lot more and more is standing out to me and really grating my skin.

I understand we have had a large increase in members, which have helped to contribute to the change of atittude of the forum.. but it's a very disappointing attitude. It's ruining the sparkle that so many people love about HGS..

I know I'm not the only who feels this way. And not just Heather because she's my best friend (to those who read this and go blah blah blah blah) because she's not the only one I've talked to about this. Many have contacted me about the SAME things and issues... We've talked about it and have become more and more annoyed and ticked off with what's going on here.

It is what it is, I guess..
