Here I Go...

To be honest, I don't really know what a blog is. I am going to assume that it is like a public diary, in which case I will use this as a means of venting and self-recognizing in situations I do not wish to openly discuss with my sisters or college friends. I talk over a lot of things with my mom and my best friend back home, but they are often hard to get ahold of and vice versa.
Tonight, I will focus on my decision to quit dating. This is my second year at college, but my first being truly single. I was seeing a guy off and on all last year, which made it really easy when I needed a date, comfort, a shoulder to lean on, etc. I have since decided that I am not fit to date, considering I have poor choice in men, to be it at best.
I am okay being single, but will admit I get bouts of loneliness or desire. Especially with Formal coming up, I am finding myself somewhat wishing I had someone on the sidelines to just take with me. I never went to my Prom, because my boyfriend would not take me. So this dance is kind of a big deal to me, but at the same time, I am very much over the dramatic aspect of college dating and would not be distraught if I had to take a good friend.
My mind is not exact clear, seeing as it is about 3 in the morning, and I have two meetings, work, and school tomorrow. I will try and get some sleep and rethink this whole blog thing tomorrow. xoxo

 |  Blogs are fun!! Nice to see you started one  If you want, you can make it so that it's only visible to your friends and not the whole public. That's how my journal is set.Sounds like being single right now is the best choice for you! I was single my first year of college and I had a blast, and learned a lot about myself |

| |  Welcome to the blogging world... I can't say much on being single since I'm 20 and married. I do know that I spent pretty well my whole high school years (besides little teeny flings) and my short college half year (woohoo for accelerated courses!) single. Gave me time to focus on myself and my future. Good luck!! |
