Retaking my health

Since we moved to Japan we have NOT been heathy like we were before. No gym time at all. NO exercise and definitely slipping when it comes to eating habits. For me, it's resulted in weight gain which triggers my eating disorder and it's also making me self conscious since spring/summer are coming and my clothes don't fit the way I want them to. I was VERY happy with the body I had back in October. I was active and ate very healthy...probably too healthy to the point of succumbing to my ED.

Admitting an E.D. relapse

Tonight was poker night for Aaron and his friends from work. I joined then for fun (not playing) and we brought some snacks to contribute. There was even more food and some alcohol drinks too.

We had fun and enjoyed the food and drinks there. I noticed that when I drink that I have an "easier" time of lapsing into my anorexia and occasional bulimic tendencies. I have been feeling pretty bad about the weight I gained lately and bingeing on the party foods was just the straw...

That time of year

Now is about that time of year that ponies are shedding and people are bringing their beloved horses back into work...but I am without. It makes me deeply sad. I ache for my horses. I feel that I have abandoned them...even though I know no horse has died for lack of a curry, and no horse has moaned at his missing of a saddle and bridle.

I know they are happy.

Tiffany and Ember are surely enjoying the pasture life. The herd of other horses and acres to run and buck on....

I noticed a member here posted an add in classifieds saying she has space for a few horses to come in for training. That got me thinking about Tiffany since she's in that area.

Besides the money thing, which will always be an 'issue' if you're a horse person, it got me thinking about that stupid mare.

It's not fun to describe in great detail what all her problems are. I hate thinking of every little thing she's done that needs work and has worn on me. Right now, I'm...

Not much to report....

My birthday was nice

I got some cadbury chocolate easter eggs which I totally love and it was so sweet that Aaron remembered. He also brought me a beautiful card with the sweetest handwritten note in it.
