How am I going to wait 11 months?? Well, technically it's 10 months and 10 days, until her due date (or what I'm saying is her due date, anyway), but that's a LONG time. And yes, I'm already counting.

I'm already starting to worry, too. What if, when the vet comes out to check her at 6 weeks, she's aborted? What if she loses it later on in the pregnancy? What if something happens to her or the foal, or worse yet, to both during the delivery?

I'm trying to hand sew the cape on my dress. I think it's some of the worst material I've ever had the "pleasure" of hand sewing. It probably doesn't help that the needle isn't the sharpest, but I am really struggling trying to get it to look nice--i.e. so you can't see the stitching at all from the "outside".

I feel very undeserving. So far since being baptized I've gotten three pieces of material for dresses and forty dollars worth of gift certificates...

Getting used to a whole new style of dress is a little challenging. For one thing, I'm used to having something "tight" around my waist, because my other dresses had a belt with a belt stiffener in them. These go in at the waist, but they are much looser. I have a difficult time trying to decide if it actually fits or if it really IS too loose.
