First day on the job.....didnt go as well as i planned

So Sunday was my first day as a groom to this lady and her husband/boyfriends(? kinda confused on that one) Well, lets just say the day didnt start off very good.
I got there around 8:20 to get the first horse ready for a ride at 9 and just to my luck, their tack room is locked. So I'm sitting there with her horse, dirty in every single spot a horse that has two blankets can get dirty, with no grooming supplies and no owner. To make the situation worse, two kids were working and when i asked them if they had a key or knew where the lady was there response was "Nope, couldnt tell you" I found out later that they knew exactly where the key was and just chose to not tell me.
So the owner shows at like 8:45 and was like sorry, sorry, I forgot to leave the door unlocked. But Bud should of showed you where it was. Nope he didnts.....ugh.
So my first day of work and Im already behind schedule
....Just shoot me now.lol I get her horse ready and she is on by 9:30. I just couldnt work with her hoovering over me, chiming in about everything. It was amazing to see how fast i got the horses cleaned and ready for her when she wasnt hoovering over me. It was nerve racking when she was and to make it even better, her husband/bf shows up and he was supposed to ride at 9:30. Well that wasnt happening. So i get him on and she is on and i have to get another horse ready, As I'm tackin up that horse, the owner comes in and was like "you didnt wrap my horse properly" At that exact moment my heart dropped. I was totally ready for a yelling but she was nice and was like "you can only wrap my horses this way...." This lady was so picky about her horses I was wondering what i got myself into.
So to some up the rest of the morning. It was choas. Every minute i turned around I had another horse to deal with/ get ready. I had two horses drying, while I had to get another two horses ready to go. Not to mention trying to keep track of all the blankets, groominh kits, coolers and saddle each individual horse had. It was an interesting day to say the least. I worked from 8:30 to about 2 which wasnt that bad, since i get paid 10 bucks an hour :0) It was just intensely choatic. But I know I'll have a routine down soon enough hopefully and maybe then it wont be that hard :0)
