Andre's doing better and better and better!!

2 days ago, and by complete accident, I did something that seems to have "fixed" this horse. When I was lunging him, he kept pulling on me. Every time he did this to the point where it was making my fingers hurt, I'd pull him towards me/me towards him until I got to his halter. I'd use the end of the line to swat at his sides and butt so he'd pivot on his front feet until his head softened. It worked a little bit but not so well....

Alrighty, so 2 days ago my friend James came down to my place with Prince and we jumped around a little. I let him on Feliche because Prince jumps flat and I wanted him to feel what a rediculously round horse is like. Sooo in return he let me ride Prince, which is really quite flattering considering how he's just a touch posessive of him, which is quite understandable. Prince is a good boy, and he's quite nice. Super sensitive on the aids, turns on a dime, great flyings, etc. Butttt he kinda moves...

Okey dokey! I haven't entered anything recently so I thought I would now. Christmas came a little late this year

So I'd been having a pretty rough time and all, just...stressing on approach to the holidays I suppose. So many stupid things I was worrying about!

Cripes...that hurt!

I come from a long line of thrifty but generous people. It's a blessing and a curse. Negative side, it HURTS to spend money! Ouchies. But the good thing is...since I'm trying to work inside a budget, my gifts are more thoughtful and creative. We just went to Wal Mart. Spent a little bit of money and got gifts for umm...5 people. Out 30 bucks. I suppose that really isn't bad, considering, but I was hoping to have more for my family. I've calculated it and realized...

Today we went up to the mountains to get our Christmas tree. We found a really nice one...I'm pretty excited about the new ornaments we got for it The Wellbutrin's starting to work I think cause I had a pretty good day. I hope it stays like that.
