Feeding your horse.

I just need to vent about this. If anyone reads this and feels the need to argue, dont. If you have a question/comment, that's fine.
You do not feed your horse for one part of their body, for one purpose, what are you really doing?
You are throwing off everything else.
You MUST treat your horse as a WHOLE.
EVERYTHING WORKS TOGETHER. The ENTIRE body of the horse, ever system, works together. You can't just pick a few to nourish.
When you are feeding more than one supplement/balancer, whatever, your horses diet is NOT BALANCED.
MAYBE one of them was balanced to begin with, but you add something else, and then what?? BAM unbalanced. Period.
What's in your feed? Do you know, I mean REALLY know? Animal byproducts? Why are you feeding your HERBIVORE, MEAT??
I hope your not feeding Purina, first of all. All I'm going to say is arsenic.
Do you know what arsenic does? *sigh*
If you feed two (or more)vitamin/mineral/supplement/ration balancers, your horses diet is NOT BALANCED.
And when it's not balanced, things DONT WORK CORRECTLY.
Does your feed have all 10 essential amino acids?
There is a reason they are ESSENTIAL.
Without ALL TEN present, production stops, so you could have 1, 3 or 9 and it doesn't matter, you must have 10 in the horses diet. Period.
Do you feed/add glucosamine?
When all 10 essential amino acids are present in the diet, the body NATURALLY PRODUCES IT.
*sigh*
Are you feeding msm? is it that cheap **** from china? Yeah. Its called contaminated. You may as well smoke it.
bad bad bad.
I'm tired of the big feed companies with their pretty bags and nice smelling feed, getting away with what they do.
Millions of dollars in marketing products that are so poorly made, so cheap, its insane.
But you know, they're well known, so people buy. the bags are nice, the feed smells great, but does it really do anything?
If they spent as much money on the product as they did on the marketing, I'm sure they'd have an amazing product.
PELLETS.
What do you do when you make a pellet? You heat it.
What happens when you heat your vitamins and minerals?
They lose their potency.
You can ask your feed company, they'll tell you they've "taken that into consideration"
IT DOESNT MATTER HOW MUCH YOU PUT IN, THE NUTRIENT VALUE IS TAKEN AWAY IN THE PELLETING PROCESS.
I just get irked for being someone who doesnt feed the big popular, well marketed ****, and no one takes it seriously.
Treat the horse as a whole. Don't feed ****. KNOW what you feed, and most of the time, it's not as it seems.
Your minerals need to be chelated, your product should not have contaminants, pellets are pretty much worthless, ... *sigh*
And so much more.
Vent over.
