Sad to happy.....

Posted 01-07-2008 at 04:14 PM by dakotawinters
Hey, so eternal sadness struck again... my grandmother finally died, my now ex bf killed my dog then threw me out of the house... a real winner hey.

Life... slowly goes on. I now have a new man, and two new puppies a 11month old and a 4 month old brittany's again. Maddy and Willy. Poor Indigo, I miss her I wish she would have known these two. And I sold Princess Ophelia to a wonderful home.

Man long year ( 2006 )I am soooo glad 2007 is over it was a way better year......

Posted 09-27-2006 at 10:27 AM by dakotawinters

And with some people riding and racing for example should not be done until your horse is trained for the right length of time.

When training, its a good idea to remember these times. And always adapt...

Posted 07-31-2006 at 11:05 AM by dakotawinters
Next a rope tied around his belly and tightening it, where the girth would go . . . next to do it where the belly strap would go on a western saddle. And with this place you have to be paticulary cautious as is can be ticklish. And produce some not so desired results. By releasing it quickly and then trying again Owen had no problems.

Next was getting him to walk up and walk beside me. For this i needed a partner in crime so my faithful assistant. So everytime...
