So next comes just tying a rope around the legs. A nice soft cotton one. Its tied to one leg, with a few wraps and then tied to the next leg (front legs only of course). So he's hobbled now. Again he has to move from pressure... so hips and shoulder. Of course not realizing that his 2 front feet are tied together he makes a nice jump. But then steps around nicely. His practicing for turning. OH YEAH!

May is when the training has begun. After all the pets all over, or the friendly game on all the zones. I started working on picking up the feet. My guru---Ross. Showed me a time tested technique, to restraining the feet and not putting the horse in any harm. I like this way as you dont have to put your head or body anywhere near flailing limbs. Which in the past can be a hazard to your health. Anyways... all 4 legs eventually get tied up. You become God, so to speak. As at anytime...
