As an instructor I can tell you that there is zero need to yell at students. If you yell their ability to learn stops. Positive reinforcement and focusing on what is going right is a good place to start.

Also, if a student is struggling, a good instructor (IMO) will take a step back and build up the foundation that needs to go along with the skill you are trying to master.

Riding is like a pyrimid, each skill is built on the ones before it...like pre-requisit college...
