Day Off was more like Day WORKING...

Right now I'm working a bit of an oddball schedule... Mon is off, Tues & Wed Work, Thurs Off, Friday WOrk and Sat and Sun off... SO 3 days off, Two days on, One day off, One day on...
Today started out fine... I actually slept in kind of late for me for the first time in weeks and then got up and did all my dog and horse feeding, turning out etc chorse.
I rotated Emmerson and Dancer back in with Elle into the big field and spent some time this morning cleaning manure out of the small front pastures...
I thought I'd take Dancer for a Trail ride today after I did a few chorse around here... SO much for THAT idea, sigh...
Rocketman called me and had a "honey can you please run all these errands for me" list.... THAT shot 1/2 my afternoon, so just enough time to ride everyone at home, not time for trail ride.
I did get the laundry caught up, yippee... I really am not meant to be a homemaker... I need to win the lotto so I can have someone else attend to these mundane chorse for me
.
The other thing I'm having a hard time doing is NOT doing things related to actual job while I"m off... I mean I'm not getting paid to jot down marketing ideas, follow up with emails, etc, when I'm not at work, so I really need to stop doing it on my off time, but it's so hard NOT to for me... I just kind of go into auto-marketing pilot... EEK
I am also trying to figure out how to get away to Richland for a night next weekend... my friend whom I've not seen since 2003 will be there with her twin daughters visiting her dad... The neighbor is willing to animal sit for me, I just don't know if I can justify the expense of driving over and back (300 miles each way) to Roger... HOPING he thinks it's a fine idea... I want to do the schooling show here that weekend to, so I'd have to leave on Sun and come home on Mon morning since I have to work Tues.... Never simple and easy...
I still have to figure out when I can go get Whirlie that week too, I think the car will get a lot of 'me' time, lololol.
