I finally have an appointment setup with the specialist for my leg. Of course the apt. is scheduled for MONDAY. For Pete's sake that is 9 days after breaking the bone, 5 days after having the xray confirm that. Lovely. Don't you just love how our medical system works? So I guess I will get a cast on Monday.
How is it that when the swelling has gone down a little, the pain is worse?
My knee still looks like an elephant's knee. Pretty!

 |  Re: WaitingOh Jen, I truly feel for you! Just STAY off that leg, I know you're about over the edge with anxiety and boredom and worry about the leg it's self, but, for the sake of healing faster rather then slowly, stay off it... I'm sorry :-( |

| |  Re: WaitingDoesn't it amaze you how long it takes to get in to see your doctor when youre broken? It's like "Hello! In serious pain here! I'm not waiting 9 days!" They tried to do that to me when I shattered my arm.. had to bully the office to get me in the day after I broke it instead of 3 days. |
