Can't make up my mind.

Posted 04-10-2007 at 09:34 AM by lover
Ok, i need your guys help on making a desision(sp) So as you have possibly hered in my other entries i want to go to the top. And here are my posible paths to take.

1. Take lessons for a loooong time like 10 yrs. And then get my own horse and continue taking lessons.

2. take lessons and get a horse in a year or 2.

3. Take lessons and in 1 yr or more i get to ride my trainers horses whenever i want for free and still take lessons.

I am kinda looking more 2 the third 1. Cause that way i can ride whenever and still have lessons. Cause if i do number 2 then i have to quit riding lessons in order to get a horse. B/C of money, And in number 1 i will have a more high paying job and can do both and i can drive. So what do U all think? Please let me know by saying so in the comments or pm.

I'd go with three. Not only would you get to have lessons and ride a variety of horses (which is good for all of us), but then when you go get a horse, you'll have a good idea of what you want. Once you're established in what kind of riding you want to do seriously, you'll be able to pick a horse that will suite your needs better. Sounds like you have three good choices though.

I would definitely choose option 3. That way you get to increase your riding skill and know whether you wish to take it seriously or not. The opportunity of being able to ride your trainers horses sounds great. Not many people have that opportunity.
