Video Montage begins

Now that I actually have cameras to take video.....I will be adding some videos of work I"m doing.

As well as some "visual" instructions if anyone is interested in the future of what to do, what the horse may do, etc.


This first video.....is a quick video of me lunging Blister. Blister has been round penned for years upon years, but has not been worked in a very long time.

Time to work....Round Pen

The essence of round pen is to allow the horse to have the freedom to move, within a small area that you can control.

Horses can think when they move. So the idea is when things you don't want to occur happen, you get the horse moving. Get them thinking by turning them, changing their speed, anything to get them focused back on you and not the object of scary.

With the weather being icky, working the horses is an issue.

So, the first thing we need to see....is if the horse will totally respect the person on the ground with nothing but a hand and a camera and move away from the grain.

HA. been a while since I've done a journal entry. But, oh well.

Maybe I'll get some entries up for training soon. Between here and my website....

With having Sage to start, maybe I'll get some good video taken.
