I just sent my first fan letter ever. It was to Tim Lips telling him what an inspiration he has been to me.

I doubt he'll even reply, but it's nice to just get it out there.

Today was a dressage day for Ed and I. Unfortunately, it started drizzling as soon as I got Ari's saddle on Ed. So that her saddle wouldn't get ruined, I decided to get my ruined instead and switch today to be intervals instead of dressage. Of course, once I got the jump saddle on, it stopped drizzling... of course.

Ed was good, though a bit behind my leg and rather wary of cantering around the facilities. He kind of felt like was saying, "are you sure this is allowed? All the other kids are looking at us funny." He got into the canter more than the trot and I practiced on just maintaining a rhythm with him being over his topline.

Penny is looking close! Very long in the sides now. I'm going to update the Penny Watch thread with more details.
