Jess,Reebok,Tiger,and Rion's Journal

Hello hello..

As some of you may know I have a newbie in the herd.. His name is Acta, he is a 14yo, Bay 3* eventer and lets just call him the Rolls Royce in my life atm. He is a beauty to ride and is sadly only a lease.. We are competing and are working really well together so far.

Rion: Is doing fantastic! We have been jumping and dressaging and eventing better than ever I am so proud of him.

Had another lesson..

Now I have to work on his lunging,backing up in a straight line not swaying and avoiding the engagement.. Coming to me,leg yielding on the circle - lunging and riding.. and then...

Rion is used to being out of balance and just RUNNING all the time.. So I have to make him into a western horse and do that SLOW trot that is almost a walk and also lengthen in notches.. so that he learns to...

ok this is late but tiger is back up and running! we are doing dressage and i am workingon getting him engaged and on the bit rather than up in the clouds..

ok so tiger had his new drain taken out a few days ago and now the top hole where it was taken out is now closed over but the bottom hole is still open. He can now start to be excercised..

I won't start riding him ive decided i will lunge him instead.

Just letting you all know how he is progressing!

ok.. tiger is feeling much better but on wednesdady we found that his injury was swollen with liquid so we called the vet and he came out the next day and took out the stitches. the skin has grown over and all that is there is a scar and so me missing hair and some scabs.


He is nnow getting 20ml of sulafate twice a day which he doesnt like very much.. I have to clean his wound morning and night with water to get rid of the dry puss and to do that i have to get me fingers either...
