I had a really nice surprise yesterday.
I had a hpone call with an old friend of mine. She was the first friend I made living in SC. I've known her for YEARS, and she moved awhile ago.

Anyways, I hadn't seen or talked to her in a while, but she and her family are in town for Thanksgiving, and we're going to try and meet up

Ponies are good... Mona never ceases to crack me up on a daily basis.

No more school til Monday!
I wanted to do lots of riding (start Hanna in a curb bit) but our weather is really po.opy. We've had a rain/slush/sleet/snow mixture all day today.

My trainer is coming on Friday for a lesson. YES! He hasn't been able to come in almost a month! (His work is crazy!) And we'll be mailing HBF Iron Man's breeding COntract as well. Scary, yes! But I know what she's produced, and my trainer has a lot of breeding...

I am so impressed by Mona's baby...

She's going to have another . Same stallion, HBF Iron Man. I just can't describe how much I liked her first baby.

I don't need the next world champion foal, I want one that's well conformed, has a pretty head, pretty movement, but above all, is a pleasure to work with.

Simply put, Hanna's walk/trot days are over. Thus begins her higher education.

My mom and I rode her today. I rode her with little spurs, and she REALLY has a HOT trot once you get her going.

Canter is improving. Still needs work, but I'm happy with it.

So I was talking with her last owner who shows on the APHA circuit, and wants us to bring her up next year. Scary thought! I'm VERY tempted to bring her up for the showmanship and HUS stuff.

Well.. besides not having my favorite shoes...

I FINALLY had a pretty good day.

Well, first I found out I was in trouble at school for calling my good friend a "do.rk." A teacher thought it was "demeaning" Okay... lol

Cheerleading actually went REALLY well. We did a lot of conditioning and dancing.
