Since I was out of town on Thursday, my trainer rode Mona for me.

He says she was BAD! I feel bad... he even said he hand galloped her and jumped her. Mona jumping... oooh scary thought!

Then tonight she stood on my foot... OUCH. it's all red around 3 of my toes.

Yet another wound thanks to Miss Piggy.

Why do I keep her, again?

Just posting so everyone knows where I'll be this holiday! Won't check in until next year!

I have an 8 am practice day after Christmas *groan* until 11. Then I'll be on my way to Atlanta and spend the night there with the team. Wednesday, we're off to Dallas! We have several days of competition there, and I'll be home by the 1st.

HOPEFULLY, everything we've been working on for so long will come together! Heck, if all the stunts stay up I'll be pretty dern...

I'm so sad... my trainer wants to keep Hanna for 30 more days. :bawl:

She was going to come home at the beginning of January, but now it's going to be February.

He said she's been doing so well (which she has!) and he wants to see what 30 more days will do.

I'm really sad, but I trust his judgement.

Went out to see Hanna today with my trainer, and it went REALLY well. *phew*
I brought my own english saddle, so that made me feel more comfortable. It was just me and my trainer the whole time, so that also really helped.
I have FINALLY clicked with her canter. His legs are so long, so she got used to what he did, and I had to reteach myself. But it's all good now, so I'm happy.

Then the owner had a lesson with a student, and she yelled out to the girl to drop her hands....
