My Adventures Retold

I've been busy with school... trying to keep up with being a little fish going to a bigger pond... Roxanne's lovely, her tail's getting better now that Tequila can't get her. I know this is short, but it's the most I feel like doing at the moment. I still check the thread around here occasionally if and when I have time.

So... took a while, but I'm posting it.
On Tuesday I rode Roxanne the first time since our accident. She was an angel for me, even though she was in the new French link she's only worn twice.I was thinking maybe she'd throw at least a buck, but nope, and even when there were big noisy trucks on the driveway revving.
I'm amazed it didn't cause any mental trauma to me, I've never been so scared in my life as I was that short few moments, although I know now I'll always trust her....

Well, today started off by me waking up hyper. Yes, waking up like that. My life has been keeping up the turbulence, and I have come back from my little vacation from writing in "Black Diamonds". (New story, after the failure of "Jack & Mary" )
Horses haven't been in here much because I haven't seen much of Roxanne after our accident. Still working on getting all better, and so far so good. Most of the bad stuff's gone, but still bruised.

Yep, I write poems. Not perfect, since I don't follow any formal format or anything, but there is a rythm or rhyme to some/most of it. Here's my best piece IMO... it's on debut to all my friends here.

Bit of a heads-up: The theme is quite dark, but isn't suicidal or anything.
