When it rains....

Posted 06-28-2006 at 09:44 PM by 3WishesDun
**I am going to put this here... because I need to vent and I know this is a somewhat controversial treatment method- that I believe in -**

I am in tears.
My father in law often comes up to stay at our home. He likes to "fix" things. I try to keep him out of the barn as he is not a "horsey person". For example in the past he has left tools out-- (i.e. a pick axe in the field ). Fed the horses one time when he has no idea what they were supposed to get...

Christmas was wonderful. Stayed up late wrapping presents.... We ofcourse put out the milk and cookies for Santa- and then we took some baby powder and sprinkled it all over the hearth/edge of the fireplace and "walked" my husbands big rubber boots through the dust to make "Santa's footprints" from the opening to the cookie plate and back.

We are roasting a whole pig today- started early, early, early this morning. I have a houseful of company. Arianna...

Yesterday (Dec. 22nd) was my daughter's sixth birthday. She has been counting down the days since about December 23rd of last year..lol... We didn't do a party like last year...just went over to Orlando and picked up my 7 year old niece from daycare...then went on to my brother's house and the girls spent the day playing. Waking up in England!

Posted 12-08-2005 at 06:07 AM by 3WishesDun
LOL>.....not really....but hearing about the sometimes dreary, rainy days made me think I had.... It's like pea soup outside! Has been raining and grey for 2 days and supposed to stay that way for a few more. Trying to get my enthusiasm up for sloshing out to the barn to push the wheelbarrow through the mud. Ahhhh well... at least its not hot!

Odds & Ends

Posted 12-03-2005 at 12:01 PM by 3WishesDun
On a happier note.... got our Christmas tree. It's super tall! Over ten feet I think... (when you're only five feet tall...everything looks big. ) My little girl loves choo choo trains...so I set up a track around the base of the tree and Thomas the Train is busy circling it like a madman. Need to finish decorating everything- going to make it a point to have it all done by the time this weekend is up. Also got Cosmo a new "wife". "Wanda the II" is already busy sitting on...
