Sorry for no entry yesterday. (I am sure my legions of Jack groupies were weeping on their computer keyboards....lol ....NOT!)

Had the longest day on Friday. It was my niece's 8th birthday and I had promised my SIL that I would help her with the party. There were 20+ rugrats running around. It took over 2 hours to get to my brother's house (60 miles drive) because of heavy traffic and accidents. Then when I tried to return home the exit gate (he lives in a gated community...

Jack look pretty good today. (I think it was like Ladida said...the cold weather making him feel stiff.)

Carrot stretches, belly lifts, small hill work, & backing.
Walk in hand over spaced out ground poles.
Then a walk in hand off property because he really strides out when his buddies are no longer in sight.


Started putting up the electric fence insulators-
Hope to finish tomorrow.
Bella was not feeling well today. Did not finish...

It was cold today. About 25 degrees colder than the day before. Jack seemed a little stiff while pivoting on the right foreleg.

Worked on backing. Small hill work. -- I noticed that he seemed sore through the right stifle.

Carrot stretches, belly lifts. Don't even have to use treats anymore for the stretches..... just have to tickle his nose with the end of my lead rope and he will stretch all the way to his left and right side. Also will put his head between his front...

I am making this for yesterday. Had some family come into town and I was short on time and could not post an entry.
More yucky weather in the morning.
Cleared a bit by the afternoon, but the footing was MUUUUUUUUDY! So I only worked on hill work, carrot stretches, belly lifts, and a few sets of backing. I hope the sun will dry things up enough for me to long line him today. A cold front came through and it's pretty chilly. Sometimes Jack will be stiff/sore with such a temp. drop....
