Just bumping this so that everyone can celebrate Jordan's homecoming with us.

We still haven't heard the total cost but I think I just want to start making payments and not know for now.

Ok, so now that he is better and coming home they want to start out with small amounts of feed. He hasn't had anything while he has been colicing. So after he is up to full feed again and all that what about worming him?

Wow! That sure was a fast recovery.

I'm not sure if you've listed it yet, but what have you been deworming him with and when?

Can you have the vet run an fec while he's there? (Or you can simply take a sample in to the vet yourself.)

I have said it but I don't mind repeating it. All that he has had was Ivermectin 4 weeks ago. Knowing now what I know I probably wouldn't have used that. He will probably get some sort of Power Pack soon

I personally would be interested in seeing an fec 8 weeks after the initial ivermectin dose before deciding what to deworm with next.

If the fec is low, I would use moxidectin. If it's moderate to high, I would use another dose of ivermectin, wait 4 weeks, and use moxidectin. (Reason I do not suggest doing this now is because of his recent colic and severe underweightedness (is that a word?!).)
