.....well, I've tried arguing with a brick before and found it more productive than getting involved in these threads Ambrose

    Prayers and jingles for Jesse!
The cry of a newborn baby
    The laughter of a child
Every day that I am given
    Every breath I take...
    That's how I know.

    I'll add pics later.
Vet did an x ray and it was close if not touching the coffin bone.

He pulled it. We soaked it for 30 minutes in Epsom salts. Then he did a lower limb profusion of antibiotics. He then wrapped it after packing it with icthemol. Big dose of antibiotics and banamine and also some Bute. Gave him a tetanus booster.

I left him at the clinic in a deep stall. Need to get a few things and a lot of shavings, and then I'll bring him home tomorrow...hopefully.

We'll see how lame he is tomorrow and may do some more x rays. May have to take him to CSU.

Thanks for the thoughts, prayers, and jingles.

Oh and it bled quite a bit when it came out and while it soaked.

Hope all ends well, it seems if horses can injure themselves they will. Good thoughts your way.

Bleeding is good! Probably washed out all the nasty stuff.

    Hope he feels better tomorrow.
