  | Jazzy...Arab or Appy*pics post #11*
I believe Jazzy is having an identity crisis.  Her new thing while feeling frisky is to trot or canter around with her head up in the air, and her tail pointing straight up. The ground is now dry enough for her to run around in(although it really needs to be dragged again), and she had loads of energy to let out. I rather her expel this extra energy in the round arena, vs. the pasture. Enjoy(brownie points for how many times you see Charlie running down in the pasture)! I do believe she is going through a growth spurt, I don't know when she got so big! And some still shots:    And a photo from yesterday of her out in the pasture

She is a beautiful mare. I am from the old school and I believe that the Appaloosa should have been left as a color breed. Like a Thorough Bred Appaloosa. I just don't understand how they could have changed it and have it still make sense, To me it is sort of saying a brand of truck is Red. There could be Dodge red trucks, Chevy or whatever. I know I am going to get slammed, but that is still my opioin!! |

There are plenty of debates on the breeding forum about this, if you would like to take a look! Jazzy, although minimal, does have all the appaloosa identifying characteristics: mottled skin, white sclera, and striped hooves. She is also starting to roan, and snowflake. She is only a long yearling, and her coat will continue to change as the years go on. :

| Senior Member  | Lol too funny!!! She sure was havin a great time!! Man, baby's got back!!! Jackie does the same thing when she runs/prances around. You forgot this one...  I love this one!! Jazzy looks like she's gotten more spots? So cute!!

I love my Taylor, and of course Charlie, but Jazzy has a little bit more of that 'stinker' personality which is fun to work with. I can't wait to see her undersaddle when the time comes! It does look like she is getting more spots on her left side. I hope she gets more like that big spot on her right hip. I also feel like there seems to be more 'white' hairs coming out on her forehead. I can't quite tell if they from the star, or new roan hairs. I don't remember her having it when she came. I am very excited to see next years coat.
