| Senior Member+ | Ive always loved brindle horses ...
and now it turns out that I actually HAVE one! This marking on Faux Finish - my buckskin sabino TB filly's shoulder is getting darker and longer and more noticeable as time goes on. It would be considered a "partial brindle" and I would LOVE to see if it does breed through in successive generations! I think its awfully cool looking even though it looks like I perhaps havent groomed her! (ignore the dirt smudges to the right and left of it though - thats where I truly DIDNT groom her before picture taking time! Here is a picture of another VERY strong brindle - Catch A Bird - a TB stallion in Australia: Neat looking, isnt he?! |

That's so cool. I have never actually seen a brindle horse, but I becme fascinated with them after reading Sara Gruen's novel "Riding Lesson's".
