It's A Colt! Blaze Had A Colt! We have named him Brego!

This morning in 70 degree weather and under the beautiful sunshine, Blaze has gifted me with a beautiful colt! He is less than an hour old, and dances.

He is already trying to play with mom, and hops from side to side when he nurses!

I am so happy I am crying! I can't believe how beautiful he is!

And of course, she didn't use the $300 run in I bought for her! OH no! Too good for her! He was born outside in the pasture.

He is sorrel, of course, with four white socks and a little white on his forehead. His eyes are currently the ambiguos blue of all newborns.

I will be back later and update more. I need to go spend time with this little dude.

Congratulations! I am so happy for you that the blessed (and long-awaited) even finally occurred! What an adorable colt. Glad he and Blaze are doing so well.
