Here are more pics of the little devil

Sneaking off...

Curious baby...

Nap time! It is a hard thing to be born....

And after nap time comes lunch!

Nosy pasture mate

And...

This is my only cause for concern at this time. I am worried about his right rear leg. His hock appears to be weak and his foot is somewhat toed out. I can only hope that it will strengthen and straighten. I am sure it will, he is less than 12 hours old, so there is plenty of time to worry about it later.

I am leaning towards the name Brego right now. We were jokingly running off names from movies, and Brego came out of my mouth. It sort of feels right

Oh Congrats!!!!! And stop worrying about that leg, babies are often born with legs going 4 different directions, LOL. With him hopping up on the back legs only like that, I'd say you are fine.

Cute baby!

Id be more concerned with his front legs then the back some of the pics look like he has contracted tendons, you should have a vet look at him ASAP, they can give him IV tetracycline in first 24 hrs and correct it .It can get worse if he get to tired and not treated. It can cripple them for life if not addressed. He is up on his tippy toes and looks to be rolling over the front to me in a few of the pics! The back one will straighten out that is just prob how he was laying in their cramped up, it will get stronger and fixs its self, the front ones wont. It is hard to tell from the pics though for sure.

COngrats on a new baby boy.

He's adorable, more so now that he's dry and napping, lol.

Artist was/is windswept, don't worry, it goes away. You have a big foal, he just got squished

He is a cute little guy! I love the pic of him laying down, it looks like he's using Blaze's foot as a pillow!
