Yes, it is actually me on a horse. I haven't ridden since I went horse shopping for Madvoice. A friend kindly lent me a nice quiet horse to play with today and I had fun.

Seems every time I have planned a ride something has happened to stop me getting on a horse. Not this time though.

Then I got brave or foolish and decided to try jumping. Great plan for a person who hasn't ridden for so long and normally rides in a stock saddle anyway.

I got braver and took on a foot high verticle next. I did have to explain to the horse though we were doing it at a nice controlled trot. I even looked at the 18 inch one and thought I can do that. I got deterred though by the ground pole that was placed incorrectly and would have made it a wider jump

I decided I had shown enough bravery or foolishness for one day.

I was very proud of myself.

Silly little english saddle that really could have been an inch bigger for my butt for starters. Gimpy left leg. Horse that likes jumping.

It really could have been a disaster.

looks like fun,every once in awhile I think about getting on daughter's english horse,just to see what it would be like.then reality hits me and I stay on my horse who loves me.glad to see you had fun,your braver than me...lol.

I don't know it was brave. Foolish perhaps or a result of alzheimers. I seemed to forgotten that I really am not that keen on little english saddles and that show jumps of any size are not my personal forte'.

I do love that little mare though. Very much like my old horse to ride so I was comfortable with her.

Woo, that sounds like the best way to ride for the first time in a while. Hop on a quiet one and do whatever you want x] I want to know how you can stand not riding though? It's an addiction nobody can really ever get over, I'm sure
