I was going to ask if the horse was a mare. Looked like a mare. Kinda like Paddy does. He's been called a pretty mare on more than one occasion until I pointed out they were wrong lol.

So when are you getting your OWN horse, eh?

To be honest, I don't know that at this time in life I can justify buying a horse just for me. I don't get a lot of spare time really and not having any grass so handfeeding them all it is probably not realistic. I still have chicks horses to play with if I want.

Maybe Chelsea mare will be quiet enough for lil OLD me that I will be comfortable enough to ride her. I have got beyond the age of taking big risks now, life just won't be so forgiving if I get hurt badly.

I definitely feel ya' there SL. Still, it would be great to see you riding regularly again on a safe, reliable horse

The foot high wasn't to scary, it was the 18 inch one that I thought may be too much for me.

Whilst I was playing around chick of course was off in the jumping ring showing how to do it right.

You look great! The pictures aren't big enough for me to tell, but you don't look old enough to be blaming alzheimers or "well past" the age :P I wouldn't say older than 30 from the pictures (and the fact that I haven't been on this forum for much more than a year )

I'm glad I made you happy. We'll say you are 29 (again) as my mother says

P.S. To be truthfully honest, I was being truthfully honest about the age thing! HONESTLY!!! Your posture was what made my guess. I want to age as gracefully as you.
