You know horses dont look so good when they get old even if they are well cared for. It seems like it's risky to rescue an old horse or an ill horse these days. I see that prying eyes may automatically assume it's your fault they got old or sick. Ugh. Instead of being so cloak and dagger, why not go over and ask about the horse's history instead of making assumptions with no facts. It could quickly turn into neighbors starting jealous witch hunts against each other if no facts are involved just questions or assumptions. Get facts if you are really concerned so you can know what you are talking about first. That way you will know if it is abuse instead of asking us to make uninformed assumptions.

I knew her horse for 3 or so years before she bought him. And his previous owner knows his condition and has talked to her about it or so I'm told. So I'll just see how things go...
Thanks guys
